We make waves (with)
A second Eisbach wave? And then also with us around the corner? We had been watching Steffi and Marcus Kastner and the Surfing Wolfratshausen e.V. founded by the two of them for quite some time.
We had admired their tireless efforts and perseverance around the planning and realization of a surfable wave in a tributary of the Loisach and now that the project has actually reached the financing stage, it was clear to us that we absolutely want to jump on board and participate financially and gladly also graphically.
In contrast to Munich’s Eisbach wave, a hydraulically adjustable construction is planned here, which will allow the wave height to be adjusted. Thus, depending on the water level and the angle of inclination, the wave will be usable for beginners as well as for professionals.

The project is now in the hot phase! A total of over € 300,000 needs to be financed, 20,000 of which via crowdfunding. For every donation received on the portal of the Wolfratshausener Raiffeisenbank, the bank will add another amount. Each donation is 100% earmarked, you receive a donation receipt and if, contrary to expectations, the project does not materialize, you get your money back.
We are very proud to have become part of this idea and together with the initiators of the surf wave project we are looking forward to many more supporters!

Small addition:
On April 21st there was a surfer party at D’Amato in Wolfratshausen, where our house band “Silverfish Surfers” played a wonderful benefit concert in front of a full house. The entire entrance fee as well as the proceeds of the raffle will go towards the construction of the wave.
